S-2 CEO Again Recognized for Excellence by Women in Trucking in 2023

Jennifer Mead, Founder & CEO of S-2, has again been recognized as a top woman in trucking and her firm as a top woman-owned business in the transportation industry by Redefining the Road magazine, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). Specifically, Mead has been selected as one of the top women leaders in the trucking industry as the CEO of a firm that is women-owned and is greater than $5M in annual revenue. The 2023 list comprises less than twenty companies, all of whom are led by visionary female CEOs who have demonstrated true excellence as innovative leaders in the trucking industry. Mead and S-2 were also recognized with this award in 2022.

"Woman-owned businesses are on the rise, and with good reason,” said Jennifer Hedrick, president and CEO of WIT. “Women bring unique perspectives, skills and experiences to the businesses they lead, which can make them ideal business owners. The Women In Trucking Association continues to encourage female entrepreneurs to start and lead their own businesses, which can lead toward increased financial independence and create pathways for other women pursuing similar goals.”
